This easy and cheap recipe dresses up hot dogs--perfect for kids, get-togethers, and picnics. As long as you keep an eye on them, these also cook up perfectly under a broiler.
Ingredients | Fancy Lobster Restaurant8 hot dogs8 pinches celery salt8 slices processed American cheese1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauceDirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.Being careful not to slice them into two separate pieces, make a lengthwise slit from the top of every hot dog to the bottom. Spread open the franks, then place them side by side flat side-up on the baking sheet.Season each hot dog with a pinch of celery salt, then put a slice of cheese on top of each frank.
